Yes, hot air ballooning is generally considered a safe activity when conducted by experienced and licensed pilots using well-maintained equipment. Balloon Nepal prioritizes safety and complies with all relevant regulations to ensure the safety of their passengers.  

Balloon Nepal recommends wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes. Dressing in layers is also recommended, as temperatures can vary during the flight. Additionally, they advise against wearing loose-fitting clothing or jewelry that may get caught on equipment.  

Balloon Nepal's hot air balloons can carry up to 8 passengers, in addition to the pilot.

The exact launch site will depend on weather conditions on the day of your flight, but Balloon Nepal typically takes off from near lakeside Pokhara.

A typical hot air balloon ride with Balloon Nepal lasts for about an hour.
