The first Nepal International Balloon Festival was held in 2024/2025 and was termed a grand success. Coming in from many other countries were the U.S., Germany, Lithuania, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, Brazil, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and the UK.

  • The event had almost a million visitors flowing in during the five days, marking the first participation of the country in an international balloon festival.
